I’m finally getting around to finishing up the pictures of our vacation. We went on the right day, the weather was nice. The day after we went it rained.
At the end of the day the boys were ready for a nap.
There's no place like home. . .except Dramma's Place

I wanted to build birdhouses just like these, but Michelle just happen to find these unpainted at Hobby Lobby for $3 each so she brought them when she came in August. While Jonathan and Chris were visiting Jonathan spray painted them for me and built the stand, so all I had to do was to find the stars, glue them on and paint the trim.
Thanks guys! I think they turned out great. They are exactly what I wanted.
Just a few pictures of where we stayed. It was a very nice place and fit our group perfectly. Each floor had a bedroom, full bath, and living room. Jonathan, Chris and Carl were on the first floor which had the pool table and other electronic games and a pullout bed in the couch for Carl. Dustin, Amber and the kids and I had the second floor with a pullout bed in the living room for me. Josh, Michelle, Emily and Zachary had the top floor with a pullout bed for Emily.
The playground area was to the right of our cabin. Emily had a good time playing on it, I never saw anyone else using it.
The scenery was beautiful there.

We were taking pictures of the boys in the rocking chair in their bedroom. Jackson started to cry so we picked him up, then Abby crawled into his spot. After a few shots she decided to climb out of the chair and left Davis to roll over.
Abby helping her Mom make rolls to go with a turkey we cooked with root vegetables. The turkey was delicious the first night. The second night we had turkey salad sandwiches from the breast with chopped apples, celery, mayo and seasonings. Then we made 3 large turkey and vegetable pot pies and put them in the freezer. We really got a lot of turkey meat from that 14 lb. bird.

I woke up about 2am Saturday morning Aug. 27th and looked out the window and saw a car sitting with it’s lights on by the mail boxes and wondered what it was doing just sitting there then when it drove off I couldn’t see the mail boxes. Some people have nothing better to do.
We went to the Village Grill for dinner one evening and they had a wall full of pictures colored by children and Emily wanted me to take a picture of this airplane. So here it is!!!
They offered Emily several color books to pick out a picture to color and she picked out a space rocket.
Tea on the train.
Alright whose holding things up up there?
All decked out in Special Forces garb.
Watch out I’m coming through!

I love watching these babies and when they look cute I hope to be able to capture it.

Zachary in the car coming home from Tennessee while we were stopped for a hour on Highway 40 because of an accident. He’s a pretty happy little boy and Emily and I were having fun with him so she put her pink baseball hat on him. He liked it.
