Fun Stuff with Emily & Zack

This is Zack’s computer desk. 

Zack had these toys downstairs to play with and when we weren’t using the table he would put them on the table.  When we had meals he would move them to the coffee table.  I can’t tell you how many times a day he moved those toys back and forth from the table to the coffee table and back again.

There were some pretty hot days while I was in San Antonio in April so we took advantage of the neighborhood pool.

It has a nice playground area.

 

This bug took a ride on Michelle’s side mirror for our whole shopping trip and then made the return trip back home.  Don’t ask me what it is, I’ve never seen anything like it.

Emily’s 4th Grade Schoolwork Arrived

I’m sure everyone is tired of seeing my  yellow Easter bunny since my last blog in April, so I’m finally finding the time to do a little catching up.  After finishing the study on Revelation April 11th I left the next day to spend 4 weeks with Michelle and the kids (Josh was deployed April 7th to Qatar for 6 months).
While I was there Emily received her Sonlight boxes with most of her 4th grade schoolwork.  It’s a pretty big deal to open the boxes and to get to see all the exciting new books, science projects, and curriculum.
There’s a lot of books on every imaginable topic.

A lot of fun stuff, makes me want to go back to 4th grade and do it all with her.

Of course Fernie had to be there the whole time checking everything out.

Dramma’s New Place

This is the beginning of a new adventure.  Actually the new adventure started last January when Amber, Dustin and I decided to build.   We have been looking at two lots next to each other for a while.  In January we started working with a builder and it’s been decisions, decisions, decisions for months now.   Below is a picture of the  3/4 acre lot my home will be built on.   Amber and Dustin’s 3 acre lot is to the right and wraps around behind my lot.  I will try to post the building process as it goes along.
