It started snowing around 11am Christmas morning just as forecasted.
I took this picture about 8:30 pm Christmas evening. It’s suppose to keep snowing until early Monday morning. I’ll try to remember to take a picture when it’s finished snowing so you can see how much snow we get. It’s beautiful to watch it snow.
The day started pretty early at 8am and ended at 8pm when the munchkins were in bed We opened some of our gifts then we took a break for breakfast. Amber made a French toast casserole the night before and baked it in the morning and served it with eggs and sausage. We then went back to opening gifts. When the boys went down for their late morning nap we cleaned up the paper mess. We pretty much spent the rest of the day cooking and playing with the kids. It was an enjoyable and relaxing day.

Davis was getting pretty excited about everything going on around him.
Abby putting money in the bank that Chris and Jonathan made for her. It’s pretty clever! You put the money in the beagle’s mouth then it goes down a wiggly slot into the clear hamster ball. The boys banks were blue dinosaurs.
Michelle sent the Dorothy dress and red shoes to Abby.
Gracie seems to have found a clear spot to take a snooze.
Dustin, Amber and Abby trying out Abby and the boys new tent, sleeping bags and camping chairs. Bass Pro Shops specials.
Davis was really interested in this toy.
Abby spent a big part of the day in the tent with her big fluffy dog pillow and various other toys..
Jackson and Davis had a lot of fun crawling and rolling around inside of the tent for quite a while.
Hoping all of you have a Merry Christmas!
They’re forecasting a WHITE Christmas for us…
Let it Snow, let it Snow, let it Snow!!!
But NOT the day after Christmas we want to go to all the sales, Yeah!!
JoAnn these pics are for you.
There’s always something going on around here and even more so during the Christmas Season. Abby loves the carousels so … every place that has a carousel and she sees it she yells, “I’m tuming horsie, I’m tuming!” I think I’m going to start a collection of all the pictures I’ve taken of her riding the “horsies.”
This was at Concord Mills Mall in Concord near Charlotte, NC.
This was at Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem, NC.
Jackson and Davis watching the Carousel at Hanes Mall.
Abby opening her Advent Calendar. There’s 25 little doors on it and she opens one door each day for the days of December leading up to Christmas. There’s a little note in each door telling her where to look for her snowman bag. When she finds the snowman bag it has a treat in it for her. She does it with her Daddy every day when he gets home from work She loves it and reminds him as soon as he comes in the door.
