The Great Halloween Pumpkins

Chris, Jonathan and Carl made a set of two pumpkins each for JoAnn, Michelle, Amber and myself.  We all love them, they were a great surprise when they arrived in the mail and fun to stick in the front yard.  Thanks guys!

Tanglewood Park Hay Ride – 10/24/10

The colors and scenery were just beautiful in the park and the weather was a perfect Fall day for the hay ride with all the smells of Fall.  We came to a clearing in the trees where everyone could get off, walk around, take pictures and pick out a pumpkin to take home.  The hay ride took a little over an hour.

Chalk One Up For The Pumpkins

Amber, Dustin, Abby and the boys (they just watched) did pumpkin portraits of themselves on the driveway, and they included Gracie and Zozo with doggy ears.

Child’s Play

I thought of Carl and Emily, the king and queen of Lego’s, when I rediscovered this toy of Michael’s in a box that his mother gave us many years ago.  I thought it might be a very early edition Lego, but there is no logo on it.  Mmmmm . . . I wonder how many times he took this apart and put it back together.

Pumpkin Cookies for Daddy

Amber, and many times Abby, will bake goodies for Dustin to take with him when he travels for a race.  It’s almost expected from the guys on the team that Dustin will bring some kind of homemade goodie.  These cookies were for last weekend at Talladega.

Tasting is part of the perks of baking!
