I decided That during the Olympics I would put together this 600 piece World Puzzle so I would know where everyone was from in the various events. Amber printed out a ton of these Olympic pictures for the kids to color and they wanted me to color some with them. Who can resist cute little kids asking you to color with them, especially if you get to use a Brand New Box of crayons.
It actually took me 3 weeks to put this puzzle together with doing it in my spare time which these days there seems to be very little of.
I loved doing it. I was quite amazed at how many Seas, Bays, Gulfs, straits and various other bodies of water there is all over the globe other than the oceans.
All the ocean pieces had facts of all the countries printed on them. The countries starting with the letter A began on the left side of the ocean puzzle pieces and ended with the end of the alphabet on the right side of the ocean puzzle pieces. Very interesting!
I’m now looking for puzzles of the different continents so that I can actually see the names of some of the countries without having to use a magnifying glass.
