Christmas Misc.

There’s always a few random shots so I thought I would just lump them together.
Amber made some cookies for our Christmas Cookie Exchange that were round chocolate balls baked and then dipped in semi-sweet choc with nuts sprinkled on top.  YUM!!!  She had a lot of the semisweet choc left over and I didn’t want to throw it away so we spread it out on some parchment paper and sprinkled crushed peppermint candy canes on top and put it in the freezer.   After it was frozen we pulled off the parchment paper and broke the chocolate into pieces.  It was delicious!  And so easy.  I like my chocolate cold so I keep mine in the fridge. The next time we have left over chocolate I'm going to try mixing in some pumpkin seeds and sea salt crystals.  Yummmm!

Michelle sent me these 3 little cottage tree ornaments, they were perfect for the small tree by my lighted Christmas village.  I love them!

I had bought two long sleeves of Christmas ornaments after Christmas last year and didn’t really have any place to put them so I found a basket and mixed them with pinecones and decorative yarn balls.  Add a placemat, wooden stocking and a lantern and I had a center piece for my dining room table.

At my TLC Christmas party this year one of the men in our group who does woodworking brought a big gift wrapped up.  After dinner and our usual white elephant gift exchange this big wrapped gift was still sitting there.  He then had someone pick a piece of paper out of a hat and I won the gift.  We were all wondering what it could be and when I took the bag off we all sat there staring at it still wondering what in the world it was.  We were told it was a Time-Out Chair.  I told them I think I can put that to good use.   When Amber’s kids saw it they wanted to sit on it.  Jackson said he wanted to be in tine out!

The Time-Out Chair now sits in my office so when little people come over they can sit on it.
