Amber’s good friend Tina’s nephew, Gabriel was due in September of last year, but in June his parents were told that he was not growing. They surmised all sorts of things. After running a lot of tests they finally decided that they needed to deliver him as quickly as possible. They did and he weighed less than 2 lbs. He was healthy but grossly undernourished due to the cord drying up. It was a very traumatic day waiting until he was delivered. So, it’s been a joy and a blessing to join the celebration of his 1st Birthday.
Could you guess, Elmo theme?
He didn’t want to touch the cake.
He’s just about to cry here.
The party was at Tina and Jeremy ‘s house in China Grove, 45 minutes. south of us.
They have a nice backyard for a party. It threatened to rain, but it never did.
The kids were in their pool all day except when we ate.
Abby and Davis pulled Jackson around on this float forever . . .
. . . except when they were in the spa.
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY GABRIEL!!!

Whoever invented those puddle jumpers has made a fortune, everyone has them.
The puddle jumpers are great because they don't tilt them forward like most of the life jackets for kids do. They also have a good certification as a life-saving device.
